********** NEW RULE 2008 **********
* This probably won't happen, but this rule has been brought up and now introduced to our Petal
Fantasy Nascar League. If your primary driver wins, and your secondary driver gets second, you will get 5
points knocked off your score. If your secondary wins and your primary gets second, tough luck, no bonus.
* We will break up in to even groups determined by the number of entries this year. You will still pick
your primary driver and will use him all year long every race. Then you draw a number out of a hat to
determine what order you will draft in. For example there will be three people in each group and the
person that draws the number one will draft first by picking one driver other than there primary driver and
then the second person will do the same thing. Now the third person will pick two drivers and then the
second person will then draft there second driver and the first person will pick two drivers until everyone in
the group has five total drivers counting the primary driver. So then you will have your primary driver and
the four drivers that you drafted. Now we will play the first ten races with those five drivers the primary
driver will race all ten races and then you will put the other four drivers in the race with the primary however
you want. You must put every driver you drafted in a race before the tenth race. Your points will be
determined by the way they finished for example if your primary driver finished 3rd and your drafted driver
finished in 22nd position then we will add your 3rd place and your 22nd place and your points for that race
would be 25 points. The lower your points the better.
* You will receive points per the position your driver finishes in. At the end of the year, the lower score
wins. For example:
Jimmie Johnson finishes 1st place
Greg Biffle finishes 42nd place
You will get 1 point for Jimmie Johnson and 42 points for Greg Biffle for a total of 43 points.
* If your driver qualifies on the pole you receive - 3 points. If you driver wins the race you receive - 5
points.
1: Points will be given by position the lower your score the better
2: If Nascar fines your driver we will add 25 points to your score no matter what Nascar does
3: If you cant make the draft date someone will draft for you
4: We will reward the driver that gets the pole with -3 points
5: We will also reward the driver that wins the race with -5 points
6: With ten races to go the top 3 people will draft against each other and 4th thru 6th will draft against
each other to make it more interesting
7 : If there is a tie we will go to the 3rd race of the year to break it if after that and they are still tied we will
go to the 6th race and so on until the tie is broken
8: We will draft 10 races the first time and 8 races the second time 8 races the third time and then we will
draft the last 10 race where the top three draft together and then fourth thru sixth together or however
the points work out I WILL NOT CALL YOU FOR DRAFT DAY BE THERE ON TIME IF WE SAY AT 5
THAT’S WHEN WE START WE WILL START DRAFTING WITHOUT YOU!!!!!
